The Power of Sacred Sound
Mantra is one of the oldest and most powerful spiritual practices in the Vedic tradition. The Sanskrit syllables of sacred mantras carry specific vibrations that purify the mind, open the heart, and connect the practitioner to states of consciousness beyond ordinary awareness. Our Mantra Yoga & Meditation Retreat teaches these ancient practices in their authentic form.
Over five days, you will learn and practice the Gayatri Mantra (the supreme Vedic mantra of illumination), the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (the great healing mantra), Shanti Mantras (peace invocations), OM chanting, and Ganesha mantras for removing obstacles. Each mantra is taught with its correct Sanskrit pronunciation, meaning, and practical application.
The retreat culminates in a traditional Havan (sacred fire ceremony) where mantras are offered into the fire — a powerful Vedic ritual that transforms the atmosphere and the practitioner. Daily kirtan (call-and-response chanting) and bhajan (devotional singing) create a joyful community atmosphere that deepens your connection to the practice.
