When You're Ready to Go Deep
Week-long retreats offer transformation; extended retreats offer fundamental change. Our Long-Term Spiritual Retreat is for practitioners ready to dedicate significant time to practice - whether as a sabbatical, a life transition, or preparation for teaching.
This isn't a vacation. It's a structured program of daily yoga, meditation, philosophy study, and karma yoga (selfless service). You'll live simply, rise early, eat purely, and practice consistently. The results match the commitment.
Nepal's visa structure allows 90-day tourist stays, making extended retreat possible. The affordable cost of living means your resources go further. The mountain environment supports the depth you're seeking.
Program Elements
Daily Practice — 2-3 asana sessions daily: morning dynamic practice, midday pranayama, evening restorative. Variety of styles and focuses.
Meditation Program — Progressive meditation training from 20 minutes to 1+ hours. Multiple techniques explored and refined.
Philosophy Study — Deep dive into yoga philosophy: Patanjali's Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Weekly study sessions.
Karma Yoga — Service to the community: helping with classes, cooking, cleaning, local projects. Work as spiritual practice.
Sattvic Living — Pure vegetarian diet, regular schedule, limited digital engagement. Lifestyle supports practice.
Community & Solitude — Balance of group practice and personal time. Sangha support with space for individual journey.

Long-Term Retreat Stories
Swami Ananda and Deepika are great Yogis and excellent hosts, radiating love and kindness. They helped us with every request we had and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The yoga is profound, authentic and deeply spiritual. A true blessing, being able to stay at Bodhidham and experience their teachings.

Yoga & Meditation Retreat
Great school and highly recommended. Swami and Deepika clearly have a commitment to excellence, not just in the training but equally in their student support. Both are vibrant, engaging, and well versed on their content. The classes were so well rounded, there were so many great modules. I learned so much about yoga philosophy, anatomy, asanas, sequencing, Ayuverda, traditions and a lot of other interesting facts.

This was a life changing experience to learn and practice yoga on all levels in such a beautiful and authentic setting. The instructors and guides were amazing. Always with kindness and confidence, they led me through my trip in Pokhara. I received constant support and spiritual guidance throughout my entire stay, which made me grow as a person.
